MY 1ST PADDLE

AUGUST 3, 2009

One night Tyler decided that we should go for a paddle together and watch the sun set. I was excited but also a little nervous. Since he has never paddled tandem before and I have never paddled at all I didn’t know if we would be able to do it. We got to the beach and jumped in the water. After battling the sets, we finally made it far enough out to start our adventure. After a few adjustments we finally got going pretty well. I tried to help a bit but I think I was just making it harder.

The water was very warm and there were the most beautiful cloud formations in the sky. We didn’t go too far but we really enjoyed being in the water, getting some exercise and enjoying the sunset. We were so lucky to get such an amazing sunset after many nights of it being cloudy. I really enjoyed my first paddle and I can’t wait to hopefully go again sometime soon.

PADRES

APRIL 26, 2009
Padres 3, Pirates 8
One of my favorite things about San Diego is going downtown to Petco Park to watch the Padres. The new stadium is absolutely gorgeous and with San Diego's growth, there are so many good restaurants, bars, and things to do.

Tyler and I had been debating going to the Padre game all week. After breakfast at Swamis with my parents and walking the Encinitas Street Fair, Bryan Davis gave us that needed movtivation to go. We drove down and met up with my friend Steve Pak I haven't seen in a while and we all sat together. It was a lovely day out, too bad the Padres lost 3-8 to the Pirates. Hopefully they can turn things around and make it a winning season!

LAKERS

April 14, 2009
Lakers 125, Jazz 112

I was lucky enough to score a pair of tickets to the last Laker game of the regular season. I was worried I was going to get a pop-up flight before or during the game and miss out on my first Lakers home game. At 6pm my phone rang and it was work. I have never been so happy to have a trip scheduled for 4am. I was going to get to enjoy the game even if it meant I was hardly going to get any sleep. We had happy hour at the Yardhouse, my favorite, and then went to the game. We had great seats in a sold out game and we had so much fun!

(Carlos Boozer at the line)

WE ARE OFF TO THE PLAY-OFFS!
GO LAKERS!!!
